Pattern Description
This is a diagonal crosshatch of fine lines forming small diamonds, but here a second, heavier layer sits “on top.” A handful of thick bands join the thin bands here and there, giving slight variation and weight to the pattern that makes it a little more visually interesting than a pure grid. Those bold lines don’t disrupt the underlying lattice so much as reinforce it, tracing a few of its diagonals in much heavier weight while the rest stay fine and uniform.
There are also some spaces between lines that are wider than others, as if a line is missing here or there. While no lines curve and no lines ever cross at anything other than perpendicular right angles, it is still not as perfectly even as grid graph paper.
