Fine Even Grid

Pattern Description

This one’s a straightforward crosshatch grid made of two sets of thin diagonal lines overlapping at right angles, forming a tight, even lattice of small diamonds across the whole surface.

The scale is small enough that from a normal distance it almost flattens into a uniform gray, and you have to get close before the individual crossing lines separate out. There’s no variation in weight or spacing anywhere, no interruption or drift, just the same square grid repeating edge to edge.

It’s about as plain and mechanical as this kind of security print gets. They can’t all be intricate masterpieces.
