I like to take pictures.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The best way to use this website is to start at the first post<\/a><\/strong> and scroll through it, then use the link at the bottom to go to the next one, then the next, until you have to take a break.<\/p>\n

That way, the journal will take you through my whole life in photos<\/strong>, starting from my college freshman-year Intro to Darkroom Photography class, and ending with my present life in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

I’m not a professional photographer, although I have dabbled a little in the past. Taking photos is just something I love to do.<\/p>\n

Like anyone, I’ll naturally take photos of the things I’m interested in that are around me in the moment. Over time, this forms a sort of diary of my life and primary concerns<\/strong> in any given year.<\/p>\n

So I think you can truly get a glimpse at my real honest life by seeing what’s reflected in the photos I chose to take.<\/p>\n

I actually have a whole degree in film<\/strong>, plus a collection of antique cameras<\/strong>. So in a technical sense I have expertise here, but I don’t really think about it anymore, and I certainly don’t use that education professionally.<\/p>\n

Similarly, I’m a professional luxury brand marketer<\/strong><\/a> and proficient in SEO, but I’m not trying to monetize this site or turn my pastime into any sort of big content play on this site.<\/p>\n

My photography is purely a hobby, and this site exists purely for my own artistic pleasure.<\/strong><\/p>\n
