Make: Tesla

Tesla was founded in 2003 in California by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning, with El*n M*sk joining early as a major investor and later CEO. The company focused exclusively on electric vehicles at a time when EVs were still niche and experimental. Tesla pushed battery range, performance, and software-driven features into the mainstream auto market. In my opinion, their decline after M*sk’s takeover has been truly sad to watch. Key models include the Roadster, Model S, Model 3, Model Y, and Model X. Note that the Cybertruck is too ugly to ever feature on this blog, no matter how clever a license plate may be.
