Since it was 2007 I decided my speech would persuade others about &#8220;how awesome I was&#8221; and for a visual aid I made a testimonial video with friends and people on campus.<\/p>\n<p>I originally planned on just getting a bunch of people to say the words &#8220;Ethan is awesome&#8221; to repeat over and over, but some of them decided to really run with it and the video blew up. The fun I had in making it (in Windows Movie Maker!) led me to consider film school as a serious opportunity.<\/p>\n<p>Looking back, I&#8217;m so embarrassed by the video clip I used of myself at the end. Why did I look like that?
