Awkward Morning (or as it was originally misspelled, Akward Morning) was a Production II group assignment. I’m credited as the audio recordist for official class purposes but on set we all did a lot of everything.

This was a real place that had just had a major party the night before we filmed, so we didn’t have to stage any of the stuff laying around. In fact I think we actually cleaned up some of it first.

Note my cameo as the guy on the couch with an oven mitt over his face and with one sock half-off.

A major reason for adding the naked guy was to make our very, very terrible professor uncomfortable and dissuade him from providing feedback. I’ll leave out his name (initials N.B.) but he was one of the worst teachers I’ve ever had, he regularly got in screaming matches with his students, and I wish him only the worst.
