🧪 Pixel Fucker
Randomize RGB pixel values with reproducible controls, compare the result with the original image, measure what changed, and export the mutated raster.
This tool is client-side only. Everything happens in your browser and none of your data is shared.

Randomization
RGB channels are changed independently within the limits below. Alpha values are preserved exactly, and fully transparent pixels are skipped.
Maximum permitted distance from each original 8-bit channel value.
Weighted favors values closer to the original. Uniform gives each valid output value equal probability.
0 is uniform; larger values increasingly favor small changes.
Display only. This does not change the exported image.
Advanced settings
Independent RGB ranges
Random seed
Refresh generates a new seed. Reusing the same image, settings, and seed reproduces the same randomized pixels.
Output format
PNG preserves the randomized raster exactly. JPEG and WebP use lossy encoding and can introduce additional pixel changes after randomization; export verification measures those changes.
Distance Distribution
The theoretical curve shows relative probability by absolute distance from the original channel value. Boundary effects depend on the original value.
Observed displacement
This chart shows what actually happened across visible RGB channels in the current run. It can differ from the theoretical curve because channel values near 0 and 255 have fewer valid destinations.

Export
Download or copy the current randomized output, or export the settings and measurements as JSON. Export verification reopens the encoded result and compares its decoded raster with the randomized raster.
About This Tool
Pixel Fucker is a deterministic image mutation tool for changing RGB pixel values under controlled settings. It randomizes visible color channels while preserving alpha values and leaving fully transparent pixels untouched.
The mutation can use a uniform or distance-weighted distribution, a fixed seed, a maximum RGB shift, and separate limits for the red, green, and blue channels. Reusing the same source image and settings produces the same randomized raster, which makes experiments repeatable. Does this defeat AI watermarks like SynthID? I don't think so, but I don't really know.
The preview shows the original image, modified image, and an amplified difference image. Processing statistics record how many pixels and channels changed, mean and median channel displacement, maximum observed shift, per-channel averages, transparency counts, and SHA-256 fingerprints of the source file and raster data.
Pixel Fucker can export the mutated image and verify the decoded result after encoding. Lossless PNG output can preserve the randomized raster exactly, while lossy formats may introduce additional encoder changes that are measured separately.
